Can these boards also be used for surfing?
Our boards are created purely for decor purposes. Please note that as such, there is no curve in the boards- they lay flat against the wall for optimal hanging.

To create the dimensions of our Classic Surfboards, we worked with surfboard shapers to get the shape of a real board, and tweaked the design for optimal wall decor use. As such, please note that there is no curve in the boards- they lay flat against the wall for optimal hanging.

What is Paulownia wood?
Paulownia wood has the best ratio of strength:lightness of the woods we tested, which was important to us in creating wall decor. It is also one of the most sustainable woods, as the Paulownia tree grows 6-13 ft per year.

How do I clean my board?
To protect the board, do not apply abrasives or household cleaners, dust with soft dry cloth.

Is each board the same?
Each board varies in grain and patterns, as we use real wood. Our boards are also hand painted, which creates slight differences in each one.

Can the boards be hung horizontally?
Yes, our hardware allows for the boards to be hung both vertically and horizontally.

How do I hang the boards?
All boards come with Wall Buddies hanging hardware. To hang the board horizontally, align the screw holes with the black dots on the back of the board. To hang vertically, align the hanging hardware on the top half of the board. Refer to the Wall Buddies hanging instructions to hang on the wall. CAUTION - We are not responsible for the hanging of pieces or damage associated with hanging. Each wall is different and our hardware may not be suitable for everyone.
